Explain how Simryn Gill explores the relationship between the natural world and culture in her artworks.
Through many involvements in creating numerous artworks many artists for example, Simryn Gill explores a range of many ways, which relate and involve the use of the natural world and its objects, which are apart of the nature subject, as well as the culture that is involved in the masterpieces Gill has spent time creating. Simryn Gill has often, always involved found objects incorporated into her artworks in any possible approach, in which she can possibly think of whilst using these found objects to complete her many artworks.
As Simryn Gill goes into depth and explores the use of natural features included into her artworks, each object one by one adds meaning into each artwork created. Many of these objects/materials used in Simryn Gill’s artworks include, plants, glass, run-over objects, dried food and etc. As mentioned before Simryn Gill incorporates the use of both natural and cultural objective elements together into an artwork. Simryn Gill entwining both of these elements together into her artworks has been told that it would create and explore a better meaning of the relationship between both elements natural and human.
In one of many artworks created by Simryn Gill to incorporate the subject matter between human and nature, Gill has created a numerous number of artworks, which are fairly similar to one another, such as the artworks under the title of “Vegetation, 1999”, they all look similar to one another as it incorporates both genders of man and women standing/sitting behind and surrounded by a flood of natural features, such as, branches, twigs, trees, leaves, etc. These can be shown in the images below.
